08 – Sanjeevani Express

To provide better healthcare services to the citizens of Chhattisgarh during an emergency, Jai Ambey Emergency Services envision to improve the condition of a medical emergency in real-time through 108 Sanjeevani Express which is a State Government's flagship program. Jai Ambey Emergency Services is leaping ahead towards providing better healthcare services to the patients in an emergency.

As per the contract with the State Government, the organization is operating the emergency services from December 1, 2019. The 300 new ambulances in the organization are having 270 basic life support systems whereas 30 ambulances incorporated with advanced life support systems. 108 Sanjeevani Express is saving Thousands of lives every day by providing facilities in emergencies.

Advanced / Cardiac Life Support Ambulance (ALSA): The objective of the Advanced Life Support Ambulance (ALSA) services will be towards providing emergency transportation in cases of accidents, high risk pregnancies and other medical emergencies like myocardial infection, snake bite, asthma, renal disorder, orthopaedic cases, cases of burn and also emergencies related to fire and police department. The case need to be provide lifesaving support during the “golden hour” and ensure efficient and immediate patient transfer to the nearest appropriate health care facility.

Advanced / Cardiac Life Support Ambulance (ALSA)

Basic Life Support Ambulance (BLSA)

The objective of Basic Life Support Ambulance (BLSA) service is to provide treatment to those in need of urgent medical care. This would include providing transportation in case of pregnancies, sick children, senior citizens, accidents and other emergencies.

Ambulance Crew Member

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT):
EMT provides immediate response to emergency medical calls. They are usually the first senior healthcare professional on the scene and are responsible for assessing a patient's condition and providing essential treatment prior to hospital admission.

Treatment includes:
Resuscitating and stabilizing patients;
Using high tech equipment e.g. Defibrillator;
Applying spinal and traction splints;
Administering intravenous drips, drugs and oxygen

Ambulance Driver

Drives ambulance to transport sick, injured, or convalescent persons: Places patients on stretcher and loads stretcher into ambulance, usually with help of EMT & Ambulance attendant. Takes sick or injured persons to hospital, or convalescents to destination, using knowledge and skill in driving to avoid sudden motions detrimental to patients
